Wednesday, March 07, 2007 / Research Triangle Park, NC — Clinipace, Inc., a clinical research software company focused on clinical trials and patient registries, today announced the launch of its Empowered Partner Program (EPP). In response to the industry’s need for highly configurable clinical software, Clinipace is offering small and medium-sized CROs a tailored and proven clinical technology suite to include in their service offering.
By providing a more comprehensive service offering to their pharmaceutical clients with Clinipace’s technology, these CROs can compete more effectively with larger, full-service CROs, while still maintaining their own unique level of specialized client service.
“Smaller, more specialized CROs typically do not have the bandwidth or financial resources to invest in multiple sophisticated clinical software applications, particularly if they are actively providing their clients with the detailed, attentive service that won them the business in the first place. Clinipace recognizes this and has created our partner program to be a true collaboration enabling CROs to augment their core strengths with our core strengths, and increase their revenue as a result,” says Jeff Williams, CEO of Clinipace.
The effectiveness of this program has already been proven with Clinipace reporting its first two partner CROs have recently closed over $3 million in new business won in collaboration with Clinipace.
Joining the EPP does not require capital investment, and among other benefits, partner CROs will receive preferred pricing on Clinipace software and services, free trial management tools configured to support each project, as well as joint sales and marketing resources from Clinipace.
Chris Porter, VP of Operations for Clinipace, explains, “The EPP is truly unique in that this offering is exclusively for small-to-mid sized CROs because they stand to benefit the most from adopting a robust technology platform, and they tend to be nimble enough to adjust their processes to take full advantage of what technology has to offer. By integrating technology through the EPP, even a small boutique CRO can offer robust eClinical capabilities while maintaining a lean operational profile.”
Clinipace is a clinical research software company providing a single, integrated data capture and study management platform for clinical research and registries conducted by biopharmaceutical and medical device companies, Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) and Academic Medical Centers (AMCs). Our platform, called Tempo, is delivered via a web-based, on-demand architecture that streamlines the clinical research process by eliminating the integration headaches associated with multiple platforms, reducing project efforts and costs from startup to conclusion, and empowering project stakeholders to make informed real-time decisions regarding their research.
