Experienced Executive to Focus on Service Delivery and Global Growth

MORRISVILLE, N.C. (Business Wire) October, 18 2011 — Clinipace Worldwide, a global digital contract research organization (dCRO) that has pioneered technology-amplified contract research services, announced today the addition of John Larus as Executive Vice President of Clinical Operations, to its growing team of clinical development experts.

In this newly created position, John reports directly to Chris Porter, Chief Operating Officer, and is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the project management, clinical monitoring and safety groups within the U.S. clinical operations unit at Clinipace Worldwide.

Prior to joining Clinipace Worldwide, John served as Chief Operating Officer at Fulcrum Pharma Developments, Inc., which is the U.S. business unit of Fulcrum Pharma Developments Plc, a pharmaceutical and regulatory consulting company. John has held several senior management positions at contract research organizations and eClinical firms, including AAI Pharma, Magguzi, and Novella Clinical (formerly known as PharmaLinkFHI). Additionally, John was a co-founder at PharmaLink and was instrumental in leading the firm through its acquisition by Family Health International (FHI).

John holds a MA in Quantitative Psychology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as a BA in Psychology from Johns Hopkins University.
